After receiving an email dated “12/31/1969” that simply read “This Message Has No Content,” I became increasing intrigued with the contemporary concept of both time and reality. Continuing in my practice of carefully mining philosophical theory, 80’s cult film and science fiction, the recent compositions offer new investigations on the extent to which we can separate and define reality.

Building upon the paradox of fiction, and referencing the films The Neverending Story, Spacecamp, and Psycho, I explore how the moving image in particular has constructed, altered, and informed my own personal reality.
